Ashby cum Fenby is a village and civil parish in North East Lincolnshire, England, approximately 5 miles south from Grimsby, and just east of the A18 road. In the 2001 Census the population was recorded as 248, increasing marginally to 249 at the 2011 census. The village comprises around 100 houses and is recorded in the Domesday Book. Ashby Cum Fenby sits on the edge of the designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. The village runs from Brigsley Beck Bridge along the B1203 up towards Ravendale and then turns left along the A18 Barton Street down Thoroughfare Hill and left into Main Road and into the three lanes (Third, Chapel and Post Office) part of the village and then back towards the B1203.

In the village there are various local businesses:-

Halliday’s Garage, Dixon’s Plumbing, Pettigrew Builders, Hall Farm Hotel & Restaurant, South Farm Equestrian Centre plus Willow Lakes which will combine holiday cottages, a café and viewing site with liveries for horses. There are also holiday cottages to rent at Homefield Farm and The Hall.

St Peters Church is the local church and its Church Hall serves the village community. Regular Coffee Mornings take place in the Church Hall throughout the year.

There are a number of Almshouses in the village which are close to the Church.

The village has a flag pole which is used to mark significant or special occasions.
